Beauty is only skin deep...
Okay, I've procrastinated long enough! I think it's time to release
the much dreaded review that I was loathe to write. So here goes...
I was in for a surprise when I plopped the tape into the player.
Evangelion X definitely looks like the real thing! At first anyway.
That's about the only positive remark I can come up with. To sum
up my Eva X experience, the word "seizure" comes to
mind. I almost had one before I decided that enough was enough.
NGE fans might try and do some philosophical analysis about what
was going on with this show, so I'll just wish you luck. There
was definitely no story, serious or otherwise. One could wish
for a comic relief, but there's nowhere to be found. Try SailorMoon
X and the 7 Dragonballz instead if you need to extract some
sort of twisted entertainment from an anime parody. I don't think
h-fans might be pleased either, seeing as how the private parts
were concealed with some sort of a white blinding light. No story,
no detailed ecchi scenes. What's the point of creating a hentai
parody of Evangelion anyway? For the art? Excuse me, but I'd rather
indulge myself in the original NGE than waste my time even finishing this worthless piece
of trash.
