Life
(08.25.2002)
Just skip on to the second episode.
After being full of themselves from doing the "Best Of..."
DVD series, Kitty also tries its hand at releasing one-shots
to the viewing public. Problem is: Two opposing shows just
can't mix very well.
"Stairs" is a show about an angsty college guy who
finds out that his "best friend" is doing her boyfriend
instead of him. And it gets so dark and depressing that I don't
even wanna talk about it.
"Countdown To Delight," on the other hand, is a bright
and comical story about Motoki; another "random college guy."
And yet he just wants to earn good grades and such. But he's unable
to do anything with his sister Megumi and her girlfriend Eika
getting it on in the next room. Eika learns about Motoki's (boy)friend
Yuji, and Motoki's statement that he's NOT gay, before giving
him "a piece on the sly." However Yuji comes by and
gets angered to find his crush doing a les- excuse me: bisexual
activity. His sister Eimi also arrives for a three/fivesome.
After running far and away from this "hell," he ends
up meeting a rich sweety named Natsuki. He falls in love with
her as she decides to tutor him, but it becomes obvious that Natsuki's
idea of love includes whips and chains (read: she's no better
than hooligans he hung around with).
The guys over at "Anime On DVD" had it right when they
warned us about the English dubbing being horrible. I'll also
advise you to avoid "Stairs" if you don't like all the
depressing angst crap. Lastly, I'll say that the characters in
"Countdown To Delight" look more like freshmen in high
school than college students.
Skysenshi's NOTE: This feature is applicable to Kitty's Pleasure
Pack 2. An update on the information will be added as soon as
more of Pleasure Packs are seen. Also, Life has mentioned that
Kitty's Pleasure Pack 2 has some sort of a mess-up. On the cover
it says that KPP2 features "Countdown to Delight" and
"Crimes of Passion", but the inside actually contains
"Stairs" and "Countdown to Delight".
