Tournament of the Lords
Like Tournament of the
Gods, Legend of Reyon is a story about clashing
powers and strength tested in the middle of a sacred battle
ground. Both titles also have obsessive tournament committee
members that have other agenda besides entertainment. The
only difference is that in TotG, the forbidden love was the
catalyst that started the tournaments' destructive phase.
Here, it is more like a quest for tribal dominance.
Reyon features unbelievably handsome men who are experts
in sword-weilding and a female fighter, Nerise, who reminds
me so much of SailorUranus.
She strikes me as a warrior of beauty and magnificence, whose
plus factor is her rodent assistant who knows how to save
the day. The fight scenes are too short for my taste. This
is a little unfortunate because Baron Jeek has an absolutely
impressive form. Not only that, the art and animation, especially
in the action scenes, are really fluid. Take note of the similarity
to Magic Knight Rayearth—the characters can become one
with the greatest fighting giant knights a.k.a. mechs in regular
anime terms.
Ah, yes, not to forget the details about the hentai scenes. Well,
there are a lot of lesbian loving and some creepy monster intercourse
going on, but the private parts (except for the breasts) are well
shielded from view.
