Beauty is skin-deep...
I looked at the cover and found an exquisite woman who exudes
an ethereal amount of sensuality even before you plop the
tape into the player. At first glance, I figured Rei Lan would
be the kind of woman I had dreamed of becoming when I was
a little girl: strong, unafraid, beautiful, mysterious, seductive
and whops a powerful turning-long. Kind of like Chun-Li
shrouded in SailorPluto's
mystery.
The fantasy stops there. Alas, the gorgeous Rei turns out
to be a very complicated, very confused person. One moment
she's professing love for Guy A, the next she's popping cherries
with Guy B. Oh, wait! Before that, she also dabbles in a little
lesbian activity! Then she vows to kill Guy B for "enslaving"
her, but when she finally locates him after four long excruciating
years of searching, she professes love and undying horniness.
Men must think we women are THAT fickle.
It doesn't help that some of the frames used in the first parts
were just borrowed later for the finale. Hey, we want variety
and spice in our ecchi scenes! Talk about laziness. Oh, well.
The animators probably figured that a sex-filled hentai flick
like this one would bring in the big bucks, so who cares about
recurring frames anyway?
