Cover Description: When the government develops an experimental
cyborg named Dragon as a secret military weapon, all hell breaks loose
as a failure in the gene manipulation causes the creature to become

Fueled only by its insatiable lust for women and utter destruction,
the creature escapes and starts abducting women to fill its sexual appetite.
In order to combat this threat, the government assigns Anne, Layla,
and Sion, three spunky, and very sexy agents, to solve these shocking
crimes and kill everyone involved. As the three find clues that lead
them to the creature's hideout where it keeps the abducted women, they
are caught in the middle of an erotic battle of the sexes.

Ever seen Charlie's Angels? Well, this anime is like Charlie's
Angels (CA) meet the sexually-deranged
Overfiend. It has beautiful and unbelievably talented
female agents, impossible missions, non-stop action scenes,
and breathtakingly glamorous scenic spots. The artwork is
spectacular as well, especially the way they drew my favorite
bomb-specialist agent, Sion.
You basically have three women: your redhead leader, your
usual computer geek (think Ami Mizuno of SailorMoon), and
your sophisticated brunette. These women hold nothing back
and would even go out of their way to fornicate with their
targets just to achieve their goals. Their assignment this
time is to apprehend the mastermind behind the rape, abductions
and deaths of so many females. And guess what? Their target
is actually a demonic creature with multiple limbs. Yep, brace
yourselves for another series of tentacle-filled sex scenes!
To give it credit, though, Spy of Darkness doesn't scrimp
where it matters most (to a hentai fan, that is). The hentai
sequences are detailed, but then again, that's to be expected
of tentacle flicks.
The downside? Well, the story is as cheesy as the plot-less
Y2K Charlie's Angels movie (with Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu,
and Cameron Diaz). The ending also leaves much to be desired.
You know how hentai vehicles are and their usual lose-lose
situations. But hey! We're in this for the visuals, which
are the main entertainment appeal.
