A lesson to be learned...
All right, so the characters have elongated faces and they
have bizarre sense of humor (to match their oddly shaped faces).
The women definitely look old. To top it all, the sex scenes
aren't that explicit.
Nevertheless, Weather Report Girl made me laugh till I fell
of my bed. The women here are definitely far from being airheads.
They know how to make use of both their beauty and their brains.
They can be really mean, though, which is actually characteristic
of real women. Female versus female showdowns are quite messy
because our gender can be wicked and devious. The funny thing
is WRG exaggerates this trait of ours to the point that you
start to feel sorry for the sort-of villain. What can I say?
In every chapter, it's one sick girl pitted against another
who is equally as sick. There really are no winners in situations
like these.
There is one good lesson that can be learned in WRG: You
can't be at the pinnacle of success forever. When you have
reached the top, there is nowhere else to go but down. You
always have to think of ways to keep your status, which is
why you have to be innovative at all costs—lest somebody
younger and more creative steal your crown from you. And woe
to you if you do not study your enemy before attacking!
Oh, there is another lesson: Don't do anything underhanded
to ruin somebody else. That will effectively accelerate your
downfall.
